Entry Form - All participants must complete and sign an entry form and medical release form. Please return the form, along with payment, to the Puget Sound Senior Games, P.O. Box 1487 Olympia, WA 98507-1487. Click here for a Printable Entry Form or call (360) 413-0148 to have a Registration Package mailed to you.
Entry Deadline - Early registration ends July 5, 2001. All entries postmarked after July 5, 2001 will be charged an additional $8 entry fee. Late registration ends July 17, 2001. No entries will be accepted after July 17, 2001. Applications are not considered complete until full payment is received and the liability waiver is signed and dated. There will be no on-site registration. A limited number of events may be available for last minute sign-up at headquarters check-in.
Confirmation Forms - Detailed confirmation forms will be mailed to you when we receive your completed and signed entry form, medical release and payment.
Cancellation/ Refunds -Officials reserve the right to cancel or reschedule any event due to insufficient registration, inclement weather, or other unforeseeable circumstances. Refunds will only be given for events cancelled by Puget Sound Senior Games.
Eligibility - Any person age 50 years or older as of July 26, 2001 may participate in the Washington State Senior Games.
Age Brackets - Five-year groups for men and women 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, etc. Divisions are based on the athlete's age as of July 26, 2001. If there are fewer than five athletes in an age bracket, competing age brackets may be expanded to ten-year groups. For doubles and team competitions, the youngest participant determines the age bracket.
Scheduling Conflicts - Those athletes planning to enter multiple events should check the event schedule to avoid conflicts. Event schedules in this registration packet are tentative and subject to change. Call the Puget Sound Senior Games Hotline at (360) 413-0148, or check our Events Index for updated events, times and locations.
Awards - First, second and third place athletes in each competing age bracket will receive customized medals. Ribbons will be given to forth, fifth and sixth place athletes. Awards will be presented at the event venue immediately following the competition.
Check-In - You must check in at Senior Games headquarters at Saint Martin's College before attending any event. You will receive any last minute information, a welcome packet, a T-shirt and any special event tickets you've ordered.

Event Locations - All events and activities will be held in the Lacey, Olympia and Tumwater area of Thurston County. See the Events Index for event location address.
Transportation - Participants must provide their own transportation to and from all events and venues. Limited shuttle bus service will be available to athletes on Saturday, July 28.
Equipment - Participants are responsible for their own equipment for all events. See the event description link in the Events Index for details or contact the event commissioner.
Uniforms - All athletes must wear the athletic attire usual and customary for the sport(s) in which they are competing.
Insurance - Puget Sound Senior Games and Washington State Senior Games does not carry medical insurance to cover injuries which occur during the games. It is expected that all participants carry their own medical insurance for any and all medical injuries that might occur.
